Habitación en Arles
Es un ordenado y riguroso inventario en el que figuran todos los elementos que físicamente podrían ser extraídos de la habitación de Van Gogh. Excepto suelo, techo, paredes y ventana, está todo lo demás. Podría ser producto de un desahucio o podría tratarse del inventario de los enseres robados en aquella habitación. En argot de delincuentes a esto se le llama "reventar un piso".
It's an orderly and rigorous inventory showing all of the items that could physically be taken from the room. Except for the floor, ceiling, walls, door and window, it lists everything else. It could be the product of an eviction or, since you mentioned the police, a list of the items stolen from that room occupied by Van Gogh. This is what criminals would call "cleaning out" a flat.
